UNISON NI Immigration advice Clinics:
UNISON are holding monthly immigration advice clinic with a solicitor from the Law centre – every first Friday of the month. To book an appointment please email n.donnelly@unison.co.uk or phone UNISON office on 02890270190. Please also note that UNISON also provides an immigration advice line through UNISON Direct 0845 355 0845 – Immigration adviser rings you back the following Tuesday. 
 
Bi-Lingual buddies:
UNISON NI are piloting a group of bi-lingual buddies who will be a link for people who do not feel confident ringing their representative in English. We currently have bi-lingual buddies in the North and West Belfast branch (Polish / Russian); Community Voluntary branch (Polish); Greenpark (Polish); Northern health (Czech – Slovak) and UCHT branch (Polish) – for contact please email Nathalie n.donnelly@unison.co.uk or contact your branch. 
 
Anti-Racism, Trade Unions and Migrant Workers – ICTU residential weekend
ICTU were due to run a residential weekend for migrant workers in Draperstown this weekend. However due to the bad weather conditions the weekend had to be postponed to January (Date tbc.) Call for Volunteers- Private Nursing Home Campaign
We are running a project to organise towards better terms and conditions in the Private Care sector. The campaign will involve volunteers who can drop off information and visit their local Nursing Home on a regular visit. If you would like to volunteer and agree to drop off information in your local home once a month, please contact Nathalie n.donnelly@unison.co.uk
