MAY DAY MARCH AND FESTIVAL

SATURDAY 1 MAY 2010 – BELFAST

at 11.30 a.m. (assemble at Writers Square, Donegall Street Belfast for speeches – guest speaker is Bob Crowe, General Secretary, RMT )

 

This year UNISON are hosting a breakfast for our retired members in Galway House at 9.15 a.m.  followed by the launch of the Retired Workers banner.

 

At 11.30 a.m. we are then assembling in Writers Square (Donegall Street, just beside the traditional starting point) for the rally.

 

The march will move off shortly afterwards, take the usual route and return to the marquee at Writers Square for the family festival.

 

We encourage all UNISON members and UNISON branches to take part in the other events which are listed in the attached leaflet.  Click here to download leaflet

 

UNISON will again be providing a band and a fun bus. The Regional Committee encourages branches to contribute to the May Day March as follows:-
