TO ALL BRANCH ACTIVISTS

 

Dear Everyone

 

On Friday morning 23^rd April 2010 our members working in the former Greenpark Healthcare Trust are returning home to the Health Service after almost 20 years of privatisation.

 

The branch organised a welcome home event and we are asking other branches to support them by sending some representatives to celebrate the end of privatised support services in our Health Service.

 

There is also an important political point to make by putting the spotlight on this final in-house return.  It is very clear from what the Tories are saying that they will embark on another privatisation programme in the Health Service and this is likely to strongly influence the Northern Ireland Executive if they win the election.

We are all assembling at 9.45 a.m. outside the Withers Unit (on Friday 23^rd April) which is signed posted in the grounds of Musgrave Park Hospital at Stockmans Lane, Belfast.
