Asylum for the Kazadi’s

Related to members of the opposition, Mr and Mrs Kazadi were kidnapped, imprisoned and tortured in their native Katanga. Beaten daily, kept with very little food and no sanitation….there is little doubt that had they not escaped when they did, Mr and Mrs Kazadi (pregnant at the time with their daughter) would soon have been killed or died from starvation and torture. The couple arrived in Belfast in 2005 to rebuild their lives, soon after Mr Kazadi got a job; Benita was born and then Sephora here later and the family have since become valued, integrated and popular members of the Belfast Community.

Many People
supported Paul and Arleth Kazadi and their family last year. Unfortunately they have now faced further refusal for asylum and they once again need support in their case. The British Home Office are continuing to pursue their return to The Congo where they will inevitably meet with extreme danger. Could you please take some time to print, sign and send the support letters by clicking the links at the end of this news story.
